Dr. Judith Pilowsky
Dr. Pilowsky received an
undergraduate degree from York University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the
University of Toronto. Please view her CV for further information.
Dr. Pilowsky has worked
with the Women’s Multicultural Mental Health Clinic at Doctor’s Hospital, the
Regional Women’s Health Centre, Women’s College Hospital and the Workplace
Safety and Insurance Board. She has also taught graduate courses at the Adler
School of Professional Psychology in Toronto.
Dr. Pilowsky is a member of
the College of Psychologists of Ontario
(#2694), the Canadian Psychological
Association, and the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability
Assessments, for which she served as Board President in 2004-2005. She has
volunteered with the Centre for Spanish-Speaking Peoples (Board Member and
Vice-President of the Board of Directors in 1992-1993), the Canadian Centre for
Victims of Torture (Board of Directors in 1996), and is currently on the Board
of Directors for the Canadian Centre for International Justice.
Dr. Pilowsky has won
numerous awards, including the Ontario Volunteer Service Award in 2002 and 2003,
for twenty-five years of dedicated service. She was also awarded a Creative
Writing Award from both the Ontario Council of Arts and the Association of
Spanish-Speaking Students at York University.
In addition, Dr. Pilowsky
has held various non-clinical positions, among them: Community Worker at the
Rexdale Immigrant Women’s Centre, Counselor for female victims of violence at
the Emily Stowe Shelter for Women, Administrator for the Shirley Samaroo Shelter
for Women, and Interim Coordinator at the Cultural Interpretation
Project at the Barbra Schlifer Clinic.

Monica Murray
Monica Murray, M.Ed., has
extensive skills working with victims of physical and psychological trauma, and
is experienced conducting psychovocational and psychoeducational testing. She
speaks Spanish.
